Welcome to Whitetail Express
Welcome to Whitetail Express!  As the spring and early summer planting season comes to a close most people were faced with very difficult conditions with extremely heavy rain fall and colder than normal temperatures in most areas.  Many customers were either not able to get anything planted or if they did, may not have been successful.  Weather is one of the things that you have to deal with that is out of your control.

That leaves the alternative of planting in late summer and early fall.  This still remains my favorite time of the year to plant.   Weed control is not nearly as difficult because of the short growing season.  But most of the products that I recommend for this time of year produce extremely high amounts of forage in a short period of time.  My favorite products for the time of the year would be the Express Blend, Imperial No-Plow, Bulls-Eye Deer Turnips, and Trapper Turnips, which are all annuals.  The only perennial  that I would recommend for this time of the year would be the Imperial Whitetail Clover.  Planting dates in most areas range from the month of August until early September.  So now is the time to start planning for the planting season is very short and you don't want to get caught waiting until the last minute.    Most areas to  be planted should be sprayed with Round Up to kill off all exsiting vegetation.  This also makes working up the soil much easier.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email or call, and I can help you out with your planting needs.
