Welcome to Whitetail Express! Spring is here and it is time to think about late spring and early summer plantings. Be sure to order early to avoid any last many problems. When planning, I always like to look at what worked best in the past and what planting failed and why this happened. Was it weather conditions or possibly not preparing the soil properly? Sometimes you can do everything right and mother nature still needs to cooperate to have a successful food plot. Some things are just out of our control. The biggest mistake most people make is going into a planting season without a good plan. Soil testing and soil preparation is the most important - the rest is up to mother nature! More often than not she does cooperate. Good luck in your planning.
Please note there will be some price changes for 2009. Be sure to check out the gallery with new photos. I harvested a buck of a lifetime this past Nov. 16th. I was able to capture some good trail camera photos of him before I harvested him which adds in the experience. It makes all of the hard work and time I put in to know that an animal like this one lives on our property which only consits of 85 acres. It just goes to show you that you don't need a lot of land to have consistent success!
Hopefully everyone had a successful season in 2009.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email or call, and I can help you out with your planting needs.
