Since working with Randy at Whitetail Express starting in 2001, I have seen a marked improvement in my 90 acres of driftless land in northern Crawford County, Wisconsin.  When I first purchased the land, I called Randy to inquire about a couple of ideas that I wanted to implement to improve upon the whitetail habitat that was already there.  Randy came out that Spring of 2001 and helped me construct a plan that has proven to be very successful in terms of deer sightings, but most importantly to me, keeping the "big boys" around throughout the year, especially during the hunting season.

My approach to food plots is very similar to how a farmer grows crops for feed.  In other words, I use a rotation of corn, clover and a fall/winter grain mixture for sustaining the deer not only throughout the fall, but well into the winter as well.  The Imperial Whitetail Clover and Express Blend Oats that I purchase from Whitetail Express is of particular high quality and has proven to be a real magnet for the deer in the fall.  The Express Blend (Oats/Winter Wheat blend) really got my attention last fall as it was the first year that I planted it.  Incredible stuff!!  I  had immediate success with it as soon at it was an inch out of the ground.  Even more impressive was the excellent stand of wheat that came back the following spring and fed the deer and turkeys right through the summer until I disked it down for re-seeding purposes.  It was routine to have up to 10 deer feeding at a time in a one acre plot of the Express Blend!

Randy's straight-forward recommendations and expertise and the very high quality products that Whitetail Express markets have really proven for me to be extremely valuable.  After dealing with other food plot products and companies, I have found Whitetail Express to be a re-freshing change from the typical "peddlers" of sub quality seed and outfits that don't have any experience with the products that they sell.
